Using Your Green Money Card

Activating Your Card

  • Open your sealed Green Money Card package.
  • Call 1-866-852-6435 (or the number printed on the card carrier or activation label, if different)
  • Select the language option (Example: 1 for English)
  • Enter the Card number followed by the # sign (number is located on front of your Green Money Card).
  • Select Activate your card (Select #2)
  • Follow the instructions to activate your card.
  • Be sure to remember the PIN you have selected, as no customer service personal will know this number. If you you lose or forget you PIN number you will have to call customer service to generate a new PIN number, which can only be mailed directly to you. Our service personal do not have access to the PIN number.

Getting Cash

Getting Cash
  • Use your card at any ATM that displays the Debit MasterCard®, Pulse®, CIRRUS® or Maestro® acceptance marks.
  • Insert your Green Money Card Prepaid MasterCard into the ATM and enter your PIN#.
  • Select the amount of cash you wish to withdraw from your card account.
  • Take your cash and Green Money Card from the ATM.
  • Get cash at any bank where Debit MasterCard® or Maestro® is accepted.  This is as easy as going to the bank teller with your Green Money Card.

Making Purchases

  • Swipe your Green Money Card Prepaid MasterCard at the cash register accepting Debit MasterCard®, Pulse® or Maestro®.
  • Select the Credit option to use the Signature feature of your card.
  • Get Cash Back at participating retailers and supermarkets at no charge, using the Debit option at the cash register.

Sharing Money

Sharing Money
  • Share money with family and friends by registering for additional Green Money Card Prepaid MasterCards. Each card is set up as a separate card account, so cardholder has access only to funds available on his or her card.
  • Call the Green Money Card toll-free customer service number on the back of your card.
  • Choose transfer funds to another card option.
  • Enter the dollar and cent amount you wish to put on other Green Money Card; than enter the other card number.
  • Cash will be available within minutes on the recipient's Green Money Card Prepaid MasterCard.
  • The person you are sharing money with (family or friend) MUST have a registered Green Money Card (or U.S. bank account) to receive funds.


Prepaid Phone Card (featuring AirTel Direct Service)

  • Call the long distance 800 number that appears on the back of your Green Money Card Prepaid MasterCard.
  • Follow the voice prompts to choose English or Spanish.

   Next

  • Press 1 to make a call.
  • Enter country code, area code, and phone number you wish to call, then press #.
  • The automated system will tell you how many minutes you have available to call that number.

   Or

  • Press 2 to recharge (add minutes) to your AirTel Direct /Green Money Card Prepaid Dialing Account.
  • The automated system will ask you to enter the dollar amount you wish to charge, your Green Money Card account number (or other debit or credit card account number), the card expiration date, and your zip code.
  • The automated system will confirm whether the transaction has been authorized.
  • Once confirmed, you may press 1 to make a call.

You will receive $0.60 of free airtime when you activate your Green Money Card!

Here are a few examples of what that can buy in airtime to the following countries:
  • 20 minutes anywhere in the continental USA, or
  • 15 minutes to Mexico’s triangle cities, or
  • 10 minutes to Paris, or
  • 18 minutes to Spain, or
  • 18 minutes to China, or
  • 8 minutes to Argentina

Paying Your Bills Online

  • Log in to your account on the Green Money Card website at www.greenmoneycard.com.
  • Enter your card account # and PIN code.
  • Select Bill Pay option.
  • Set up payee information and payment instructions in Payee Management section.
  • Select Make Payments in Bills and Payments section.
  • Follow instructions to select bills to be paid, then click on Pay Bills to complete the transaction.
